March 17, 2014 - Due to the inclement weather in the DMV area, we are closing the DC and VA campuses today, March 17. We plan to resume regular campus hours starting Tuesday morning, March 18. August 19, 2013 – University of the Potomac and LearningCounts.org Partner to Help Students Earn College Credit for Knowledge Acquired Outside the Classroom
University of the Potomac has announced a partnership with LearningCounts.org, a unique online resource that helps adults earn credit for college-level knowledge acquired outside the classroom. Potomac and LearningCounts will work together to achieve the goal of reaching more students, and giving them more opportunities to earn college credit for what they already know.

July 2, 2013 – Potomac College Becomes University of the Potomac; Announces New Washington, D.C. Potomac College
A regionally accredited school with campuses in Washington, D.C., Virginia and online, is being renamed University of the Potomac effective August 5, 2013, and will be relocating its Washington, D.C. campus to the city’s government and commercial center.
