Potomac College’s Government Contract management degree training program consists of extensive, in-depth and focused courses in contract standards and contract execution. Our education classes aptly train students in areas such as corporate or business subjects and general studies.

Our school's government contract management degree education program is designed to train and prepare students for careers in government contracting and the various activities of government contract implementation in private and public companies, city and county governments, and nonprofit organizations. Positions are often described as contract officers. Government Contract Management training is available at both of Potomac College’s Washington, D.C. and Herndon, Virginia locations.

Program Description

A Bachelor of Science degree in Government Contract Management prepares students for entry-level positions in government contracting and the activities of government contract implementation in private companies, city and county governments and non-profit organizations. It includes specialized courses in contract standards and contract implementation, as well as related business subjects and general studies.

Program Objectives

  • To provide students with the theory and application skills needed to perform functions of government contract officers
  • To educate students in the regulatory environment of government contract management
  • To develop student proficiency in information technology

  • Successful completion of general education course requirements
  • Successful completion of BUS120 and MGMT238
