Tap Programs
Realizing the need for students to set themselves apart from competition, Potomac College offers students the opportunity to apply for The Theoretical Applications Project (TAP) Honors program. Qualified students are selected for admission into the program by academic and departmental chairs. The following are criteria for admission into the TAP Honors programs:
- A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 by the end of an associate degree program or 60 lower division credit hours and a 3.0 GPA for continuation in the program.
- Employment with a college-approved mentor.
- A workplace visit and site approval by a TAP Chairperson or faculty member.
- Completion of ENGL295 Research and Report Writing with a grade of āCā or higher.
- Completion of at least 60 lower division semester credit hours.
- Approval of the TAP Chairperson.
