How long will it take to complete my degree?
Although the specific length of time it takes you to earn your degree will depend on the number and type of credits you are able to transfer, the upper division program can be completed in 18 months.

What credits can I transfer to Potomac College?
Transfer credit is accepted from nationally or regionally accredited colleges and universities, nationally recognized college equivalency exams, some non-scholastic courses, and some military training.

What if my courses were taken many years ago?
There is no time limit associated with general education transfer credits. Computer Science courses completed more than 10 years ago cannot be transferred into the Potomac College program. At the discretion of the Dean, courses in other disciplines may also be denied.

What if my courses were taken at an overseas institution?
Students who wish to transfer credits from overseas institutions will need to have their credits assessed by an outside evaluator at their own expense. Potomac College will provide contact information for their preferred evaluation agency for those interested.

Can I receive credit for life experience?
Credit can be earned for life experience once it has been documented and evaluated by an accredited institution.

What do I need to complete my transfer to Potomac College?

To transfer to Potomac College, you must meet with an admissions representative, fill out and submit an admissions application, and provide your official transcripts.
