Potomac College announces today, a new program designed to address employee education and professional development; specifically targeted atreducing employee’s expenses for education beyond what their tuition reimbursement policy offers.
The Higher Ground initiative is dedicated to engaging companies and their employees in Certificate, Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs in a far more cost effective way.

“We are meeting them where they are,” said Debra Jonsson, Chief Operating Officer at Potomac College. “Many organizations have great tuition benefit programs that are in place to help their employees advance their careers and promote from within. In spite of this, many employees don’t take advantage of the benefits, because of the substantial ‘out of pocket’ costs still associated with an entire degree program.”

Potomac College’s Higher Ground Initiative can reduce costs up to 50% or more on annual tuition*. By aligning the tuition charges with the annual benefit amount, the employee has only incidental costs like textbooks to worry about. Some companies even offer additional benefit to cover textbooks.

Potomac College, regionally accredited by Middle States Commission on Higher Education, offers business, technology, health care, government contract management, network security and computer forensics degrees, with the option to attend classes in Washington, DC, Vienna, VA or Online.
